Against all odds

Xavier Durand, ballet wunderkind, enfant terrible and creative genius.

The 25 year old French dancer, who left an abusive home at the age of 16, did never expect to fall in love with a conservative and several years older diplomat – but right at their first meeting at a fundraiser he knew that the closet bisexual John Dillon was his soulmate.

They went through a lot of obstacles: John’s late coming out, his homophobe sister, jealous ex-wife and bitchy teenage daughter, encounters with Xavier’s famous ballerina mother who never stops putting scandalous stories about her son into the press,  fights with John’s career advisors who would love to see their relationship end,  the devastating assault after which it seemed as if Xavier would never dance again, and finally John’s appointment as ambassador in a infamously homophobe country – but one thing both so seemingly different  men can be always sure of – their friendship, desire and indestructible love for each other.
